The UI Designer is responsible for crafting visually engaging, high-quality interfaces that enhance user experiences while aligning with brand aesthetics and business goals. This role demands a strong sense of layout, typography, and component-based design systems, with a keen understanding of front-end considerations.

Project overview

Key Responsibilities Design modern, intuitive interfaces for websites and digital platforms. Develop responsive UI designs that work seamlessly across devices. Organize and name files with front-end and development handoff in mind. Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and strategists. Maintain and expand design systems for consistency and efficiency. Optimize UI elements for accessibility and user engagement. Integrate AI-driven design solutions using tools like Relume. Develop UI prototypes using motion tools like Lottie, After Effects, or Framer (preferred but not required). Essential Skills & Tools Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, Webflow (preferred), Google Slides. Skills: Visual hierarchy, typography, grid systems, interaction design, branding integration, component-based systems. AI/Automation: Experience with AI-driven design tools like MidJourney, ChatGPT, Relume. Front-End Considerations: Strong organization and naming conventions, developer handoff experience. Experience & Qualifications Senior: 5+ years in UI design, preferably within digital marketing agencies or corporate in-house roles. Mid-Level: 3–5 years of experience with demonstrated hands-on projects. Junior: 1–3 years of experience, internship or additional training preferred. Portfolio & Work Expectations Demonstrated ability to craft visually stunning interfaces (e.g., Ferrara, Ellsworth Kelly, UC Yacht Charters). Must show polished process work (wireframes, iterations, case studies). Experience building and maintaining style guides and design systems. Experience balancing multiple projects while maintaining brand consistency. Soft Skills & Work Ethic Detail-oriented and self-driven. Fluent in English and Spanish (must effectively communicate with English-speaking Design Lead). Strong collaboration and communication skills. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Open to feedback but capable of challenging assumptions with data-driven solutions.
