The queuing system should accommodate both online and walk-in guests, and should work across different offices.

The guest interface should allow selection of preferred date and time of visit, and once submitted the agent (office employee) can confirm the schedule or re-schedule the visit. The visitor should select from a list of available transactions and is automatically assigned to department that handles that transaction. The visitor can select multiple transactions and each department responsible is notified.
An email confirmation is sent to visitor's email address once submitted.

The agent (office employee) will have a different view where he/she can see all visitors (past, present, and future schedules) for his/her department. Visitor can be only be transferred by the agent to another department with prior agreement.

The queuing system should have logging capabilities that is compatible with KPI based reporting (such as Power BI, or in simplest form - an Excel sheer). The queuing should be able to do voice call-out of the visitor name on the office premises.

The queuing system should be based on Microsoft products (Sharepoint, IIS, Exchange, etc.)

Project overview

The queuing system purpose is to provide an easy way for visitors to book an appointment with the office to do transaction. The nature of the queuing system is to manage seafarers visit to the office.
