3d Artist and modeller

Project description :

We are looking for a 3D artist for our Web AR projects applied to international publishing and advertising industries. This means that all the AR experiences will be triggered from a browser directly both on iOS (ARkit) and Android (ARcore), not requiring any mobile or desktop app. Thus, 3D models need be Web 3D and Web AR ready.


What is required of you?

We are looking for a 3D artist who can prepare 3D assets for web AR projects as stated above. Models will range from a variety of  E-commerce products, ie fitness machines, high-end furniture, garden products, baby products, pet products, among others.

A list of requirements you would need to meet for this job:

You have a good understanding of AR technology and is familiar with preparing 3d models for ar/vr/gaming
ability to make the model appear on ar technologies like arkit and arcore
ability to create pbr textures (using substance painter/substance designer).
Ability to prepare and export files in GLB, gLTF, and USDZ
Experience designing E-commerce products (example: home and kitchen appliances, furnitures, sports machines)
Good knowledge of retopology and projections high to low
Use of Principled BSDF - Metallic, Roughness
Create 3D models that do not exceed 5MB while appearing real and of high-quality is a must - the model should be a good representation of the product while the GLB file should be optimized to 4MB or less.
Ability to export models in real-world scale - it is a must that 3D model should be the same size as the real product when compared in AR.
