Wordpress Engineer for support

We're looking for a WordPress engineer to join our support team. Are you a pro at troubleshooting? In this role you'll work to build the best support solution for marketing agencies in the world.

[About you]
You are a versatile engineer based in Brazil with extensive experience working with PHP, WordPress, Page Builders (WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, Elementor, Avada), and associated plugins. You are also very good at troubleshooting issues in a timely manner; creating pages following design guidelines provided through PSDs; you are great at applying simple CSS / jQuery tweaks.

You bring 2-4 yrs experience in css/xhtml/javascript/php/wordpress, a good understanding of web services, rest and rpc apis, and a proficiency with code versioning tools, such as git. Having built plugins & themes is a plus. Additionally, you'll be expected to possess knowledge of SEO principles, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Having experience working on Marketing websites is a plus.

[The role]
- Troubleshoot fatal errors through analyzing error logs;
- Build simple pages with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, WP Bakery, Avada, etc;
- Speed optimizations;
- Malware removals;
- Audit existing projects and look for any issues that should be addressed;
- Work with the support lead to improve documentation & general processes;
- Run Unix commands for migrations / troubleshooting;
- Perform weekly plugin / theme / WP core updates and run visual tests;
- Create / maintain plugins & themes;

[Compensation]
The salary for this role is R$ 2640,00 (BRL), and you'll work from 12pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday. You must have an active PJ (pessoa jurídica) as you'll be hired as a consultant and will need to issue a Nota Fiscal.
