CourseHorse.com is an online marketplace for people in the New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago areas to find local classes. That being said, we have a lot of different people coming through the site from all over the world, and for a variety of reasons! We recommend familiarizing yourself with the site before completing the following skills test.
Some tips on writing email responses:
We try to use casual, enthusiastic openings to make it clear we're a friend, and that we're excited to hear from them (without going overboard)
We usually try to include 3 or more options that represent the variety available from level to location to specific programs taught
We don't go overboard including details on the classes because super long emails don't get read, and they take a very long time to craft
We always include links to the classes, so they can easily click through
Some tips on using our website:
Our search bar is great for specific terms or hard to find things, but coming up with creative ways to type things sometimes helps (for example, "User Experience Design" may pull different results than "UX Design")
Making use of our filters can go a long way in pulling quick searches
Sometimes you have to try a different approach. Our website unfortunately doesn't always have the information we need, so understanding other routes of obtaining information is important.
