Project overview

Daze’s mission is to simplify and make electric vehicle charging accessible to everyone. Together, we design charging systems for both individuals and companies seeking the perfect balance of innovation and design. Daze was founded in 2016 by mechanical engineers Andrea Daminelli and Giacomo Zenoni, who aimed to revolutionize the EV charging sector by creating the first conductive automatic charger prototype, DazePlug. Over the years, Daze has evolved, commercializing DazeBox, a smart charging system for electric vehicles in various countries, and aiming to expand throughout Europe by 2024. Innovation is our core element: through innovative products and significant partnerships, Daze is committed to promoting its vision of a home ecosystem where sustainable mobility and intelligent energy management work together to drive a real energy transition. Your Role As a Business Developer for Italy, you’ll join Daze’s Marketing Department within a dynamic, high-responsibility team of 13 industry professionals. You will be responsible for: Generating New Leads: Conduct research to identify potential clients and generate leads effectively, building a solid customer portfolio through various channels. You’ll engage in cold calling, email outreach, and other proactive methods to initiate conversations with potential clients, aiming to qualify leads and spark interest in our products and services. Building Relationships: Your goal will be to develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, delivering exceptional customer service, responding to specific product questions, and building trust and rapport. CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system, ensuring appropriate follow-up and effective sales process management. Team Player: Work closely with the marketing team to align efforts, share information, and refine lead generation strategies. You’ll also collaborate with the sales team on managing sales activities. The Profile We’re Looking For You’re currently pursuing studies in Business, Languages, or similar fields. You are proactive and comfortable engaging daily with clients who have diverse needs. You’re interested in the electric vehicle (EV) sector and eager to explore this new market. You can speak Italian fluently.
