I am looking for an experienced app developer (or team) to help bring a unique idea to life: a simple, elegant dating and social app exclusively for Imperial College London students.

Key Features & Requirements
Imperial College Branding – The app should use Imperial College’s official colours (navy blue, white, silver) for a cohesive, university-inspired aesthetic.

Exclusive Access for Imperial Students Only

Users must sign up using their @imperial.ac.uk email address.

Users must upload a scan or photo of their Imperial College student ID as part of a manual or automated verification process before gaining access.

Filtering Options – Users should be able to filter matches by:

Year of study

Course or program

Simple, Intuitive User Experience

Clean, easy-to-use interface with minimal clutter

Profile creation with photos and prompts (similar to apps like Hinge or Bumble)

Swiping or matching system similar to mainstream dating apps

Core Functions

Profile creation (including photos, prompts, year, course, bio)

Browse and filter users

Match, like, or connect features

Chat and messaging functionality

Platform
The app should ideally be built for both iOS and Android (open to discussion on phased rollout).

Extra Considerations
The app must prioritize security and privacy, particularly around email and ID verification. It must also be scalable to accommodate the student population at Imperial College.
