We are seeking a skilled developer to build a smart irrigation system designed to automatically water plants based on real-time soil moisture levels and external weather data. The system should integrate soil moisture sensors to monitor plant needs and connect to a weather API to gather forecast information, such as rainfall predictions and temperature. The core functionality includes: Reading data from soil moisture sensors. Fetching and processing weather data from a reliable API. Implementing logic to determine optimal watering schedules, considering both current soil conditions and upcoming weather events. Controlling a watering mechanism (e.g., Pumps or valves) to deliver water as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with embedded systems, IoT development, and integrating hardware with software solutions.
