We are seeking a skilled mobile application developer to create 'WarungPintar', a simple Android-based Point of Sale (POS) application tailored for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Currently, most Indonesian MSMEs rely on manual transaction recording using notebooks, leading to frequent calculation errors, untracked inventory, and difficulties in generating reports for loan applications. The primary goal of WarungPintar is to simplify sales recording, making it as easy as using a mobile phone, without requiring a strong internet connection or complex features that could overwhelm users. The application needs to be intuitive and efficient. Our target users are primarily owners of small grocery stores, food stalls, and small clothing shops, typically aged 30-55. These users are often mildly tech-averse, use low-specification Android phones, and have unstable internet connectivity. Their main pain points include the fear of miscalculating transactions, not knowing which products are best-sellers, and the tedious task of manually reconciling notes every night. The ideal solution will address these challenges by providing a robust, offline-first, and user-friendly POS system.
