We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with deep expertise in n8n to design, build, and maintain scalable workflow automations and intelligent chatbot systems. This role involves developing robust backend services, integrating various APIs, and creating automated solutions that power conversational bots and internal tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex n8n workflows and automation pipelines.
- Develop and maintain backend services and API integrations.
- Build and optimize AI-driven chatbots and conversational automation.
- Connect third-party platforms such as CRMs, messaging platforms, and databases.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and scale automation systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with n8n workflow automation, including advanced node usage, custom nodes, and integrations.
- Solid backend development experience, with a preference for
Node.js/JavaScript.
- Proven experience building or integrating chatbots and conversational AI systems.
- Strong api design and integration skills, including familiarity with rest, webhooks, and oauth.
- Familiarity with databases, cloud services, and scalable backend architecture.
- Possess a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Availability during US standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Knowledge of various messaging platforms like Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, or Telegram.
- DevOps experience.
