We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laravel developer to undertake a critical project: upgrading our existing application from Laravel 8 to Laravel 9. This project requires a developer with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework and a proven track record in handling significant version upgrades.
Key Requirements:
- Strong expertise in the Laravel framework, specifically with version 9 and its new features.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully upgrading Laravel projects across major versions.
- Proficiency in assessing and ensuring compatibility of various Laravel packages with the new framework version.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve any potential compatibility or functionality issues that may arise during and after the upgrade process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a comprehensive upgrade of the Laravel application from version 8 to version 9.
- Thoroughly testing the project post-upgrade to guarantee all existing functionalities operate correctly and efficiently.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving any compatibility issues with third-party Laravel packages or custom code.
