Experienced Mobile Front-End Developer for Cross-Platform Traffic Management App

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Front-End Developer to build a robust, cross-platform traffic management application for our field crews and control room operators. This critical application will centralize real-time incident data and provide essential tools for efficient operations. The core of the app will be a live map displaying incidents, road closures, and construction zones. Users must be able to interact with clickable markers on the map and receive real-time updates as conditions change. Key features include a prioritized incident list for quick assessment, and push notifications to alert users of high-priority events. Field agents will utilize a comprehensive reporting form, allowing them to attach photos and automatically tag reports with GPS coordinates. The application will also integrate live camera feeds and traffic sensor data overlays for a complete operational picture. A role-based login system will ensure secure access tailored to different user types. Crucially, the app must support offline reporting capabilities with automatic synchronization once an internet connection is restored, ensuring continuity of operations even in areas with spotty network coverage. We require development using either Flutter or React Native to ensure a native-like experience on both iOS and Android platforms. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in handling real-time data streams and optimizing map performance when dealing with large volumes of geospatial information. Experience with various mapping SDKs and developing geospatial applications is highly valued. We expect clean, maintainable code and regular communication, aligning with US Eastern Time working hours.
