Experienced Videographer/Filmmaker for 2-Day Cultural Production in Athens

We are seeking a talented videographer or filmmaker for a two-day cultural and educational audiovisual production in Athens, Greece. The project focuses on Ancient Greece, classical literature, history, philosophy, mythology, and the rich intellectual legacy of Greek civilization. We aim to integrate Athens itself into the narrative, with filming taking place across various city locations, including historical landmarks, areas surrounding archaeological sites, traditional streets and neighborhoods, scenic viewpoints, and other visually compelling spots.

The production schedule spans two full days and will encompass a variety of footage types:

- Presenter-led segments, where the presenter speaks directly to the camera.
- Walking and natural scenes captured throughout Athens.
- Cinematic B-roll footage of monuments, architecture, streets, and landscapes.
- Shots that visually connect the presenter with the historical locations.
- Both horizontal and vertical footage suitable for diverse digital content platforms and social media.

We are looking for a professional with proven experience in outdoor filming who can commit to accompanying us for the entire two-day duration. The primary responsibility will be to capture high-quality footage that meets the project's artistic and educational objectives. While we are primarily interested in a Brazilian videographer or filmmaker currently residing in Athens or the surrounding area, we welcome proposals and recommendations from other qualified professionals based in the region. Local knowledge of Athens would be a significant advantage, assisting with practical aspects such as efficient transportation between locations, identifying optimal filming times, and discovering unique perspectives or interesting sites.

Candidates are requested to include their rate for the two-day project, typical working hours per day, a list of included equipment, a portfolio of relevant work, and a clear indication of whether the proposed price covers filming only or both filming and editing services.
