Experienced Wordpress Developer for Optimization and Completion of Existing Directory Platform

We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to enhance and finalize an existing directory platform. This is not a new website build; the platform is already live and requires refinement, thorough testing, and completion of various functionalities. The project involves optimizing and cleaning up the existing WordPress installation, which utilizes Elementor and the Listeo theme. Key tasks include removing unnecessary theme features from the backend, improving backend usability and Elementor editability, and configuring essential plugins for SEO, security, and performance. A critical component is to complete and fix the directory search and filtering system, specifically addressing the Continent to Region to Country hierarchy. The project also requires updating visual elements such as icons, page headers, layouts, spacing, and typography to ensure a polished look. Finalizing social media integration and ensuring social links are properly displayed on organization profiles is also necessary. Improving mobile responsiveness across all pages is a high priority. The developer will need to structure existing content without requiring any content rewriting. Comprehensive testing of all buttons, links, forms, and user interactions is expected, along with fixing any broken elements and improving overall navigation flows. Finally, optimizing loading speed and removing unnecessary plugins or demo content will be crucial for a professional user experience.
