Published on the October 19, 2026 in IT & Programming

About this project

Open

I am looking for a developer to integrate traditional and cryptocurrency payment options into an existing website for an online wine course. The goal is to provide a simple and secure checkout experience and automate course access after successful payment.

Scope of Work

- Stripe Integration: Configure one-time card payments for CAD $79 and handle successful and failed payment events.
- Web3 Payments: Integrate USDC payments using MetaMask and WalletConnect on the Polygon Amoy test network, with a test payment amount of 58 USDC.
- Automatic Course Access: Grant access only after verifying successful payments on the server or blockchain, as appropriate.
- Payment Security: Implement Stripe webhooks, transaction validation, error handling, and duplicate-payment prevention.
- Email Notifications: Send payment confirmations and course access instructions automatically.
- Admin Management: Provide a basic page to review payment records and resend course access emails.
- Deployment and Testing: Deploy the changes to the existing server, configure the domain and SSL if needed, and test the complete payment flow.

Deliverables

- Working Stripe and Web3 payment integrations.
- Responsive checkout interface.
- Automatic course access and email notifications.
- Basic payment administration page.
- Tested payment flows and setup documentation.

Technical Requirements

The developer should have experience with Stripe Checkout or Payment Intents, webhook security, evm-compatible wallets, usdc token transfers, and server-side payment verification.

The existing website and server will be provided after the project begins. Please review the current architecture before implementation and identify any dependencies that may affect the integration.
