Expert Mentor Needed for Private Game Server Blaze Protocol Debugging

About this project

I am seeking an experienced IT & Programming professional tofor my private game server project. The server is designed for a game with closed official servers and communicates with the client using EA's proprietary Blaze protocol (binary tdf-encoded tcp) and http for ultimate team functionalities. The server is implemented in Python and runs on an Ubuntu operating system, with the code managed in a private Git repository. Current Progress: Blaze login/authentication handshake, persona creation, and session redirector are fully functional. The complete Ultimate Team HTTP layer, including club management, squads, transfer market, SBCs, and drafts, is working, allowing the client to boot and play offline modes. Challenges Requiring Expertise: 1. Online Matchmaking via Blaze GameManager: I am currently facing difficulties in implementing online matchmaking. While I can create and join games and push notifications, I need assistance in correctly identifying the required notification IDs, managing GameState transitions, and ensuring the precise packet ordering that the FIFA 17 client expects. Incorrect implementation leads to the client being stuck on "searching" or returning to the main menu without an error. 2. Peer Connectivity: The client reports an external ip of 0 (exip=0), preventing direct p2p connections. I have developed a basic UDP relay and a relayed-topology solution, drawing inspiration from other open-source Blaze server implementations. I require an expert to review this solution, identify any errors, and provide guidance based on a deep understanding of Blaze's connection and Quality of Service (QoS) model. I am looking for a professional who can provide insights, debug complex protocol interactions, and guide me through these advanced networking and protocol-specific challenges. Experience with game server development, network protocols, and Python is essential.
