Freelance Ai Engineer for Computer Vision Image Modification Project

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence specialist with a strong background in Computer Vision and image generation/modification for a temporary, fixed-term remote project. The core objective is to develop, adapt, or integrate an AI model capable of modifying images. This model must operate locally (on-premise) or on a self-hosted server, ensuring no mandatory reliance on external APIs.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Develop or adapt AI models specifically for image editing, transformation, or generation tasks.
Work extensively with Image-to-Image models to achieve desired modifications.
Implement robust local or server-based inference pipelines for the AI models.
Optimize model performance for efficient gpu execution, with consideration for cpu execution when necessary.
Create or integrate APIs to allow for seamless consumption of the developed model.
Provide comprehensive documentation for the solution, including guidance on deployment and essential maintenance procedures.
