I need to fix the data source connection for a Power BI dashboard that lost its link to an Excel file hosted on Microsoft OneDrive following a OneDrive error. Your task is to restore and properly configure the connection so the dashboard can update correctly.

Project overview

There was an error with the shared OneDrive folder we use at the office, matching the issue described in this link (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2201018/shared-onedrive-folder-disappeared-from-file-explo). As a result, Power BI lost its connection to its data source (an Excel file hosted on OneDrive). I need to reconfigure the data source so the dashboard can resume updating. However, when I tried to change the source, many of the visuals and cards encountered errors (losing their connections and formatting). In addition, when I test the link to the current source in the browser, it no longer opens the spreadsheet, or it downloads the spreadsheet but gives an error. I would also like to understand if, when OneDrive returns to normal, we will have problems connecting the data again. If so, what would be the solution? Note: The attached files are in Portuguese (BR).
