Ruby on Rails Engineer

***This is a full-time 100% remote position***

Sample projects you will be working on:

Working on Stripe and payments integration
Consumer facing platform
Building architecture for the platform and its features

Responsibilities:

Design and develop technical solutions to business operations.
Lead projects and initiatives with different and competing timelines and requirements.
Ongoing maintenance of the existing and future platform.

Perform peer code review, and contribute in constantly improving the development process.
Foster a transparent and collaborative environment within the development team and throughout the entire organization.

Requirements:

3+ years with Ruby on Rails building (minimum for great talent, 5+ a big benefit)
Experience with creating applications using React and its ecosystem.
Experience working with rest api
has experience working with agile methodologies

bonus experience with:

good javascript skills is a plus.
Node experience is a plus.

Knowledge of Airbnb whether it be as a host, guest, or general industry knowledge.
Previous experience developing for the real estate industry.
