Senior Shopify Theme Developer (Figma To Shopify, Long-Term)

About the role
we are looking for a senior shopify theme developer for recurring improvements to a multi-market shopify store. You will implement Figma designs, pricing logic, discount UI, variant logic and reusable components. You will work alongside a Shopify Architect or receive pre-reviewed user stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement new theme components based on detailed user stories
- Translate Figma designs pixel-perfect into Liquid, JS and CSS
- Implement discount UI, pricing logic and currency behaviour
- Build or update reusable components
- Ensure consistent styling across Product Cards, PDP, collections and other placements
- Maintain clean and structured theme code
- Deliver correct mobile and desktop behaviour
- Communicate questions early and clearly

REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years Shopify theme development experience
- Strong in Liquid, JavaScript, CSS and JSON
- Ability to implement Figma designs exactly as shown
- Experience with multi-market and multi-currency setups
- Understanding of Shopify discount logic (automatic and code-based)
- High visual accuracy (alignment, spacing, typography)
- Comfortable working with guidance from an architect

- Experience with reusable design systems
- Experience with metafields and theme settings
- Performance-conscious approach
- Experience with complex pricing setups or subscriptions
