Social Media Lead and Short Form Video Editor
You found something rare. A US construction company with an established content engine and a steady stream of real job site photos and videos coming in every single week. We just need the right person to help us grow it consistently and take it to the next level.
We are Green Valley Contractors. We run drywall and interior systems across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky out of the Cincinnati corridor. Our crews are constantly on commercial and residential job sites generating raw footage. Real construction, real people, real wins. The kind of content that performs.
We are not looking for someone to start from zero. We already have the content pipeline. We are looking for someone who understands both content strategy and execution. Someone who can think like a social media lead while editing like a creator.
compensation
$800 to $1500 usd per month based on experience and portfolio. Performance bonuses available after 90 days. Paid time off after 6 months. Long term role with real growth opportunities as we scale.
HOURS
40 hours per week. Some overlap with US Eastern Time required for posting and engagement. Schedule is flexible as long as communication, content, and deadlines stay organized.
what the role drives
build and manage our content calendar in advance so content stays consistent and organized.
Edit raw field footage into platform-native content with strong hooks, clean captions, and pacing that feels natural to each platform.
Help shape the voice and growth of our social channels across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Target weekly content volume:
• Four to five Instagram reels per week
• Seven to ten TikTok posts per week
• Daily Instagram/Facebook stories
• Three to five YouTube Shorts per week
• One longer-form YouTube video per month
• Two to three LinkedIn posts per week
• Ongoing Facebook posting and engagement
Engage with comments and community messages consistently throughout the week, especially shortly after posts go live.
Track performance weekly and help us understand what content is performing best and where we should improve.
what you bring
• experience editing short form video for brands, creators, or businesses
• strong skills in capcut and/or adobe premiere pro
• strong english writing for captions and social copy
• a real portfolio with examples of content you personally edited or managed
• understanding of current short form trends and social media platforms
• organized communication and reliable turnaround times
• reliable internet, backup power, and your own equipment
bonus points
• construction, trades, or home services content experience
• photography or canva design skills
• basic analytics knowledge across meta, tiktok, and youtube
• strong storytelling and editing instincts
