As a ux/ui quality assurance specialist you will contribute to the documentation, functionality, optimization, and overall quality assurance of all user-facing aspects of our clients’ applications. You’ll document our applications and make recommendations for areas that can be addressed via automated and manual testing. User friendliness is key for every application we build. You will validate those processes are user friendly, flow and not confuse users. Your feedback may simplify and cause modifications to the designs or code and that is expected. The core goal will be a three-part process: - Validate graphics: Where you will review wireframes or full color comps provided by our graphics team. - Validate flowcharts (if needed) and process flows - Validate mobile/web apps after coding to assure the same flow was maintained. Qualifications Your responsibilities: • Collect testing needs from our project teams and determine priorities that are consistent with business goals and objectives. • Create, find, and implement automated and manual testing methods, testing scenarios and reporting of such for our applications. • Test and validate features from our development teams. • Maintain and organize documentation for system behavior. • Plan, moderate and report remote and one-on-one usability sessions to obtain user preferences and feedback. • Present findings and recommendations in a plan that drives future design improvements. Job requirements: • Minimum 5-year experience in UX design (preferably testing web applications) • Experience running virtual focus groups for usability feedback.
