Website Redesign and Optimization for Us Telecom Smart Hands Provider - Bilingual (En/Pt)

Published on the September 13, 2025 in IT & Programming

About this project

Open

I'm seeking a mid-level web developer (3-5 years experience) to redesign our simple one-page site at Hype Telecom (www.hypetelecom.net), specializing in smart hands engineering and complementary services for US data centers/telecom. The goal is to stand out from competitors (e.g., Volico, Sycomp, ExterNetworks) by emphasizing our hyperscale expertise (proven with clients like META/Google via Indigo), cost savings (20-30% lower), and transatlantic bridge (with presence in the US, Brazil, and Latin America). Make it professional, lead-generating, and bilingual (English/Portuguese) to attract B2B clients in the US market.

General Project Context:
We provide on-site/remote technical support in the US, complemented by our presence in Brazil and Latin America for seamless global coverage. Expand services beyond smart hands to include remote hands, deployment, decommissioning/ITAD, network optimization, managed maintenance, and basic colocation support—all leveraging the same skilled workforce. Competitors have clean designs but lack hyperscale focus or Latin American reach—we'll differentiate with metrics from hyperscale cases and cost-effective transatlantic solutions. Reference sites: www.volico.com (smart hands section with SLAs), sycomp.com (cases with metrics), www.extnoc.com (global support emphasis). Aim for modern B2b style: intuitive nav, visuals of data centers, seo for "smart hands usa" and "hyperscale data center support".
Scope of Improvements (Incorporating Competitor Insights and New Services):

Structure & Navigation: Convert to multi-page with fixed top menu (Home | About | Services | Smart Hands | Cases | Blog | Contact | Global Reach); add language switcher (pt/en button).
Content & Differentiation: Dedicated "Smart Hands Engineering" section: Descriptions, benefits, SLAs (hours response), hyperscale metrics (e.g., 25% downtime reduction via Indigo cases). Expand "Services" with subpages for: Remote Hands, Hardware/Software Deployment, Decommissioning/ITAD, Network Configuration/Optimization, Managed Maintenance, Colocation Support—highlighting our presence in the US, Brazil, and Latin America. Include cases/depoimentos with hyperscale focus; basic Blog (2-3 initial posts on ai/data centers); complete contacts (phone/email/us-brazil-latin america addresses, quote form). Emphasize transatlantic edge (eu-us-latam bridge, cost savings).
Visual Design & Multimedia: Modern/responsive design (blue theme, legible fonts); add data center images (US/Brazil facilities), infographics (SLAs/uptime), short videos/PoCs; use Canva for graphics.
UX & Accessibility: Mobile-first (Google Mobile-Friendly Test); wcag basics (alt text, aria, contrast); prominent ctas ("request poc" or "get quote" like techmate).
SEO & Visibility: Optimize meta tags/titles (e.g., "Hyperscale Smart Hands USA: Cost-Effective Data Center Support"); keywords ("smart hands engineering", "hyperscale telecom us", "data center decommissioning latam"); integrate google analytics, social links (linkedin/x), sitemap; https/privacy policy (gdpr/fcc).

Current site: Basic html/pt-only. Suggest WordPress for maintenance (with WPML for bilingual).

Freelancer Requirements:

3-5 years in web dev (html/css/js, wordpress/wpml for bilingual).
Skills: Responsive design, seo/ux, basic graphics; fluency en/pt for content review.
Portfolio: Similar B2B/telecom sites (e.g., Service-focused like JNS or Volico).
Milestones: Week 1 (wireframes/structure), Week 2 (content/services expansion), Week 3 (SEO/tests/launch).

Timeline: 4 weeks from hire (starting September 2025).

I'll provide access, texts (including new services descriptions), and assets. Send proposal with timeline, portfolio, and why you're ideal!
Thanks!
