Bilingual Payroll Specialist (English/Spanish) for Us Accounting Firm

Our US-based accounting firm, specializing in serving Spanish-speaking small businesses in Louisiana, is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (English/Spanish) Payroll Specialist. This is an ongoing, full-time remote role requiring availability Monday–Friday Central Standard Time. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in US federal and state payroll compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Processing payroll for multiple small business clients.
Filing Forms 941, 940, W-2, W-3, and 1099-NEC.
Managing FUTA and Louisiana state unemployment filings.
Proficiency in working with QuickBooks Payroll and SurePayroll or similar platforms.
Certified payroll reporting experience (Davis-Bacon) is a significant plus.
QuickBooks Proadvisor, cpp, or fpc certification is preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is a non-negotiable requirement, and candidates will be thoroughly assessed on their language skills. Successful candidates will be required to undergo NBI or equivalent background clearance and sign a confidentiality agreement before onboarding.
