At Olde Tyme Floor we are in need of a punctual and detail-oriented person to be our Bookkeeper, to process financial information in accordance with the accounting principles of the company.

Role:

The role of the Bookkeeper will include activities such as recording company purchases, invoices, and sales in an accurate and timely manner for the purpose of filing accounts. To be able to fulfill this role, the Bookkeeper has to be a highly organized person, efficient and skilled to keep track of different kinds of spending of the company through relevant software solutions through which the balancing of the accounts has to be managed.

Responsibilities:

Recording expenses, bills, payments, and invoices per the company activities and transactions on daily basis and in a timely manner
Balancing and maintaining accounts on a daily or weekly basis, verifying and posting transactions
Documenting financial transactions and fiscal events per the company requirements
Preparing required statements and reports and submit to the supervisor as required or within previously set deadlines
Monitoring and complying with financial and bookkeeping procedures
Qualifications:

At least 2 years experience managing accounts receivable and collections (via call/email)
Good English and Spanish to communicate with the head of field workers.
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices (gaap & ifrs)
excellent knowledge of quickbooks
ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
ability to collect, classify and analyze data
highly developed problem-solving skills, punctual and detail-oriented
