I need an app to build a community of caregivers based on their profiles and needs. Should be able to connect the user with individuals like them, allow them to join rooms based on subject, share photos or pdf. We will need different roles: moderators, speakers, users, admins, and guests. We should be able to track interactions (i.e. How many times a user sign-in, joined a conversation, or met other users). Users should be able to interact using their real name/photo or a nickname/avatar. Communication between members should happen inside the platform (chat function). Anyone can create their own group and users should be able to opt-out from any group/discussions they had previously agreed to participate in. When creating their profile, user should be able to select areas of interest. We also need a way to submit a short survey weekly (same survey, same questions, same set of options to select).

Project overview

We are a startup creating a support system for caregivers (family caregivers, unpaid) to help them take better care of themselves and not only suffer taking care of their loved ones. These caregivers are mostly taking care of people with disabilities, rare diseases and neurodegenerative diseases.
