A logistics services company in the United States requires a complete rebuild of its online presence. The goal is to create a professional, quote-generating website to replace their current social media-only presence. The project involves developing a WordPress site with a custom theme, designed to be responsive and mobile-first, as most visitors access via phones. The site will include up to six key pages: Home, Services, About Us, Coverage Area, Blog, and Contact.
Key functionalities required include:
- A custom WordPress theme, avoiding generic templates, to ensure a unique brand identity.
- A contact form that sends messages to the corporate email and provides WhatsApp notifications.
- A self-managed blog section, allowing the client to publish content independently.
- Basic on-page SEO and loading speed optimization to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Integration with Google Analytics and Google Search Console for performance tracking.
The client will provide the logo, all necessary copy, photographs, and access to their hosting and domain. Freelancers are expected to demonstrate proven WordPress experience, provide examples of similar live websites, and offer a brief explanation of their project approach. Deliverables include the fully published and running website on the client's hosting, a short administrator guide, and a brief handover session conducted in writing or via chat.
