Shuup is open source multivendor marketplace which has many out of box features which a
marketplace owner needs. But Shuup is mainly designed for touchable products like mobile phones,
books etc…which can be physically shipped and can be delivered to customer address.
I want to use shuup for tourism and travel industry product.
Like “tour package” which is bookable
product. So all we need is to customize shuup in such way so vendor can create “tour package”. This
means adding new product type in shuup “tour package”.

This job is divided into 2 parts. First part is backend part where you will have to customize shuup for new
product type – tour package and second part is where you will have to make sure that the tour data
displays as per travel and tourism industry format.
I am going to explain both parts with third party website examples, so you can understand the work
very clearly and do it faster and deliver high quality results.
