We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laravel developer to undertake a critical project: upgrading our existing application from Laravel 8 to Laravel 9. This project requires a developer with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework and a proven track record in handling significant version upgrades.
Key Requirements:
- Strong expertise in the Laravel framework, specifically with version 9 and its new features.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully upgrading Laravel projects across major versions.
- Proficiency in assessing and ensuring compatibility of various Laravel packages with the new framework version.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve any potential compatibility or functionality issues that may arise during and after the upgrade process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a comprehensive upgrade of the Laravel application from version 8 to version 9.
- Thoroughly testing the project post-upgrade to guarantee all existing functionalities operate correctly and efficiently.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving any compatibility issues with third-party Laravel packages or custom code.
- Documenting the upgrade process and any significant changes or resolutions implemented.
We encourage freelancers to provide examples of similar Laravel upgrade projects they have successfully completed in their proposals. This is a fixed-price project with a clear scope and deliverables.
