Expert Python Development for Kpi Data Processing and Power Bi Reporting

We are seeking an experienced Python developer or data engineer to create a robust script for processing and structuring KPI data for visualization in Power BI. The project involves handling historical KPI data for multiple customers over the past six years, organized by quarter. The KPIs fall into two main categories: Operational Efficiency and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), with specific values recorded for each quarter and customer. The primary objective is to develop a script capable of ingesting raw data, likely from Excel or CSV files, and performing the following key functions: organizing the data efficiently by customer, year, and quarter; calculating essential metrics such as averages, trends, and comparisons (e.g., Year-over-Year and Quarter-over-Quarter analysis); and exporting the cleaned and processed data in a format optimized for seamless integration with Power BI, such as .xlsx or .csv. The final output should facilitate easy generation of year-over-year comparisons, quarterly trends, customer-specific performance summaries, and various graphs and tables grouped by KPI type, customer, or time period. The ideal solution will provide a clear framework for ongoing data preparation and reporting needs.
