I am seeking a skilled freelancer to conduct comprehensive research on businesses using Google Maps and meticulously organize the collected information into a Google Sheets or Excel spreadsheet. This project requires strong attention to detail and basic internet research capabilities. No specialized experience is necessary beyond these fundamental skills. Your primary responsibility will be to search Google Maps for businesses that align with specific categories I will provide, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, dentists, gyms, beauty salons, or auto repair shops. For each identified business, you will be required to accurately collect and record the following data points: Business Name, Category, Full Address, City, State/Province, Country, Google Maps Link, Website (if available), Phone Number (if available), Email Address (if available), Rating, and Number of Reviews. The main deliverable for this project is a well-structured spreadsheet containing information for 300 unique businesses, with each business occupying a single row. It is crucial to ensure that there are no duplicate entries, all information is accurate and current, and all provided Google Maps links are functional. The final spreadsheet must be clean, organized, and easy to navigate. Key requirements for this role include basic computer and internet proficiency, familiarity with the Google Maps platform, a solid ability to utilize either Excel or Google Sheets for data organization, and exceptional attention to detail to maintain data quality and accuracy. The estimated timeline for this project is 2 to 4 days.
