Hi. My project is in VMware. Where i have 4 nodes.

3 replication servers (done) and 1 monitor.

What i need to you do is to setup the monitor in linux. Where it will do the heartbeat so it will know the ‘life’ of the 3 servers.

If one server let say server A (down), the monitor will not get the heart beat from it and will know thay server A already down. So what it will do.. It will assign virtual ip A to the neighbour, either b or d. So maybe it will choose b after the weighing.

Now if we check server b, it will 2 ip. 1st one is its own server and 2nd one is virtual ip A.

This will give the benefit to the user who is currently surf on server A did not get any error and will never know that actually the server A is down.

Once monitor get the “life” of server A again. It will assign back to A.

Note that i already have the codes and outs come. In softcopy. I just need someone to do it.

Because i have 0 knowledge about linux command.
