International Legal Counsel for European Contracts & Bpo Operations

Essentiel Outsourcing is seeking an experienced independent legal professional to support our international operations, with a strong focus on European clients and service-based businesses. We are looking for a commercially minded legal expert with proven experience in international contract management, capable of identifying legal and commercial risks, supporting negotiations, and helping protect the company's interests in its relationships with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners. The scope of collaboration includes reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating international commercial agreements, providing legal support during contract negotiations with clients and suppliers, and identifying and mitigating legal, contractual, and commercial risks. The role also involves advising on service agreements, outsourcing contracts, staffing agreements, consulting agreements, and related commercial arrangements. The professional will review and advise on liability, indemnification, confidentiality, data protection, and termination clauses, provide legal recommendations and risk assessments to support business decisions, and offer ad hoc guidance on regulatory matters impacting international operations. The ideal candidate is a legal professional with proven experience in international commercial contracting, previous experience supporting European companies or international organizations, and a strong background in BPO, outsourcing, professional services, consulting, staffing, or shared services environments. The ability to negotiate directly with legal departments, procurement teams, and business stakeholders, along with a practical understanding of European regulatory frameworks affecting international commercial relationships and demonstrated experience protecting supplier interests and managing contractual risk, is essential. Fluency in French and English is mandatory, and Spanish is highly valued.
