Motion graphics designer/Video Editor needed full time

We're expanding our creative team and looking for an exceptional Motion Graphics Designer to join us full-time.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor to produce engaging animated content for product launches, brand campaigns, and marketing initiatives. You’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life with compelling visuals and dynamic animations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality animated videos for product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand content.

- Collaborate closely with creative strategists and project managers to develop concepts and storyboards.

- Design and animate 2D or 3D motion graphics with strong visual storytelling.

- Edit footage and combine it seamlessly with motion graphics when needed.

- Manage project timelines and meet deadlines reliably.

- Communicate proactively during working hours (10 am–6 pm est).

Requirements:
- Fluent in English.

- Can work on Eastern Standard Time.

- 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).

- Strong portfolio showcasing animated product and SaaS launch videos.

- Deep understanding of animation principles, typography, pacing, and visual storytelling.

- Ability to take a project from concept to final delivery with minimal oversight.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

- Able to fully commit your time to Shown Media projects during the active contract (no competing freelance projects).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with e-commerce and SaaS brands.

- Familiarity with Figma or ui/ux workflows is a plus.

- 3D animation skills (Cinema 4D, Blender) are a bonus but not required.
