Project Management- Network

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technology projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, and ensuring that all projects align with business goals and IT standards. Key responsibilities include leading the planning and implementation of IT projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables, developing full-scale project plans, timelines, and budgets, managing project teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. The role also involves coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution, identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring all project documentation is maintained and up to date, and communicating project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders and leadership. The manager will conduct post-project evaluations and support the adoption of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall), as well as manage system implementations, upgrades, and integrations. Strong understanding of it systems, networks, and software development life cycles (sdlc) is essential, along with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools like Jira is required, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of budgeting, risk management, and reporting practices is also important.
