Remote Medical Billing Specialist for Urgent Care / Multi-Clinic Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team at The Coordinators. This is a fully remote opportunity, providing essential support to a client operating in the Urgent Care and Multi-Clinic Healthcare industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive billing workflows, meticulously reviewing claims for accuracy, handling all aspects of denial management, and ensuring timely reimbursements. You will collaborate closely with the existing billing team to maintain high clean claim rates, efficiently resolve any discrepancies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses significant experience in high-volume healthcare billing environments. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing patient, provider, and insurance information for accuracy. Validating coding and submitting claims. Handling denial management and subsequent claim follow-ups. Communicating effectively with payers regarding any billing issues. Maintaining accurate and thorough billing documentation. Collaborating with the billing team to ensure seamless workflow continuity. Requirements for this role include: Proven experience in urgent care or outpatient billing. Strong experience with eClinicalWorks is required. Comprehensive knowledge of E&M coding, lab billing, and AR workflows. Demonstrated experience with claims submission and denial resolution. Excellent English communication skills. A detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy approach. The ability to work comfortably and productively independently in a remote setting. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, with a schedule of 8 am – 5 pm pst. Candidates are expected to provide their own devices.
