Shopify Store Finalization for Refurbished It Devices (Germany/Eu Compliance)

We are seeking an experienced Shopify freelancer to finalize our existing Shopify store for refurbished and used IT devices, including MacBooks, ThinkPads, iPhones, tablets, laptops, and accessories.

The store is already online but still looks unfinished and partly like a demo/template store. The goal is to make it trustworthy, professional, and sales-ready for the German/EU market.

This is not only a design task. The freelancer must improve structure, content, product presentation, Shopify settings, trust elements, and readiness for real sales.

Scope of Work:

1. Store Review and Structure

* Review the current Shopify setup.
* Remove demo texts, placeholder content, fake addresses, fake phone numbers, template sections, and inconsistent information.
* Improve navigation, menus, collections, footer, contact page, and overall structure.

2. Homepage and Design

* Create or improve a professional homepage for a refurbished IT/electronics outlet.
* Improve layout, customer journey, mobile responsiveness, and trust elements.
* Add clear contact, shipping, payment, warranty, return, and customer service information.

3. Product and Category Pages

* Improve product pages and collection/category pages for clarity, navigation, and conversion.
* Create a reusable product description layout for used/refurbished devices.
* Product pages must include: technical specifications, device condition, signs of use/scratches, battery condition where applicable, display condition, keyboard condition, ports/connectivity, charger inclusion, delivery scope, warranty and return information.

4. Legal and Trust Pages
  The following pages must be created, updated, or properly configured in Shopify:

* Imprint
* Privacy Policy
* Terms and Conditions
* Refund / Return Policy
* Shipping Information
* Payment Information
* Warranty / Used Goods Information
* Contact page
* FAQ / Customer Service page, if required

Legal texts will be provided by the client. The freelancer is not expected to act as a lawyer or provide legal advice, but must properly integrate, structure, link, and display the provided legal texts in Shopify.

5. Shopify Configuration
  The freelancer must check and configure essential Shopify settings, including:

* domain settings
* payment methods
* shipping settings
* tax settings
* checkout settings
* customer email notifications
* basic SEO settings
* language settings, if applicable
* store policies
* footer and menu links

6. Testing and Handover

* Perform a complete test order.
* Check the store on desktop and mobile.
* Confirm that pages, menus, product pages, checkout, payment, shipping, taxes, and email notifications work correctly.
* Provide a final handover report listing what was changed, configured, tested, and any remaining recommendations.

acceptance criteria / final delivery requirements:

the project will only be considered completed after all items below have been delivered, reviewed, and verified by the client:

1. All demo/placeholder/template content and inconsistent information must be removed or replaced.

2. The store must have a professional structure for a refurbished/used IT device shop, including homepage, collections, product pages, footer, navigation, contact page, legal/trust pages, and customer service information.

3. Product pages must include a reusable layout for used devices with clear information about specifications, condition, cosmetic defects, battery, display, keyboard, ports, charger, delivery scope, warranty, and returns.

4. All required legal/trust pages must be created, updated, linked, and properly displayed in Shopify.

5. Essential Shopify settings must be checked and configured, including domain, payments, shipping, taxes, checkout, email notifications, SEO basics, language settings, policies, footer, and menu links.

6. The store must be reviewed and adjusted for desktop and mobile.

7. A complete test order must be successfully performed.

8. The freelancer must provide a final handover report.

9. Any item listed in this project description is part of the agreed scope unless excluded in writing by the freelancer before the contract starts.

10. Final payment will only be released after the store has been reviewed by the client and confirmed as complete according to these acceptance criteria.
