I need to design Monte Carlo modelling of photon transport using Mie scattering and simulate laser application using dye laser based on light scattering. The tools for simulation to produce is Matlab software.

Project overview

My project is basically the same as the previous project entitled Spectral Features in Emissions from Random Amplifying Media (Ramachandran, 2000). The first simulation is to obtain the photon transport (photon count and photon loss) using Monte Carlo method with Mie scattering. For the second simulations, i need to obtain the graph of intensity via Matlab using the spectral features such as the intensity enhancement of 4 samplings, produce the behaviour of Full Width Half Maximum and monochromaticity.
