Necesito desarrollar un codigo en matlab. Ya se tiene la base da datos. Solo hay que armar variables que hacen referencia a hipótesis que queremos plantear y desarrollar test estadisiticos que demuestren/refuten nuestras hipotesis. Son en total 6 hipotesis que hay que comprobar o refutar.
It seeks to examine how opinion and uncertainty may change as a result of interaction with a group of uncertain individuals. I wonder if "herding" effects can be detected among people who, being equally uninformed about each other, simply express their opinions. Under a state of uncertainty so evident at the group level, and where herding may be the result of a mixture of both informational and normative elements.
With this question in mind, the objective is to analyze the data from an experiment already focused on group decision making to see what individual factors impact team decision making. Thus, to be able to see how to assemble a work team and what factors should be kept in mind based on what is sought to assemble a team within a company. At the same time, to be able to reveal phenomena of decision making based on prices and to be able to predict a group decision based on the characteristics of a diverse group.
The main objective is to define a pattern in team decision making and to see if herding increases or decreases as a function of the variance of initial opinions. At the same time, we seek to look at the effect on the average values before and after the discussion. Since the data come from an experiment where people debated prices of works of art, we e want to see how the diversity of opinions can affect the final value accepted by the group. In other words, I seek to see what effects cause a value to change or not and what would be the explanatory variables that reflect that change in the final value.
The idea would be to prove that the discussion of people with more diverse opinions (difference in prices of the first part) is more likely to reach an agreement than groups with less diverse opinions (more similar prices).
I need to develop a code in matlab. We already have the database. We only need to assemble variables that refer to hypotheses that we want to pose and develop statistical tests that prove / disprove our hypotheses. There are a total of 6 hypotheses to prove or disprove. We have a database with the answers of the participants of an experiment. Here is all the info on how it was done and at the end are all the hypotheses that we want to prove or disprove. The idea is to compare prices of art paintings, see how varied is the answer 1 versus the last answer for each painting.
