About this project

Open

On the lookout for a dynamic Training Developer to elevate our staff training initiative. We're dedicated to cultivating a vibrant atmosphere where our team gains job readiness and forms a close-knit unit aligned with our mission.

Our training unfolds in two parts: Pre-camp training, a flexible online module for counselors, and Orientation week, an immersive, in-person experience.

Responsibilities:

Streamline the "Camp Embark" specific training so staff members are well versed on what we stand for, how we operate, and how we deliver our services.
Infuse creativity into our training materials, making them interactive, engaging, and enjoyable for both New and Returning Staff.
Revitalize pre-camp training using gamification and e-learning, setting the stage for a spirited in-person Orientation week.
Tailor content to resonate with our vibrant younger staff (17-21 years old), fostering teamwork and a strong sense of belonging.
Craft a versatile training process that is adaptable to winter (2 weeks), spring (1 week), and summer (9-10 weeks) and seamlessly scales with new camp locations.
Ensure training content is robust, enabling anyone to deliver it effectively.
Develop our staff "orientation" week focusing on gamification and nurturing the Camp Spirit.
Requirements:

Proven expertise in developing interactive and gamified training programs.
Familiarity with e-learning methodologies and self-paced learning.
Ability to connect and engage with young adults in a training setting.
Strong organizational and analytical skills to address season-specific challenges.
Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
