We are seeking an experienced freelancer to enhance our website's security, optimize its WordPress performance for both mobile and desktop, and implement key user experience improvements for our e-commerce functionality. The primary goals are to combat spam order bots, improve site speed and responsiveness, and streamline the purchase process.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Website Security Upgrade: Implement robust measures to prevent and mitigate spam order bots and other malicious activities. This may involve advanced CAPTCHA solutions, bot detection, firewall configuration, and security plugin setup.
2. WordPress Performance Optimization: Conduct a thorough review and optimization of our WordPress installation. This includes improving loading times, optimizing images, leveraging caching mechanisms, cleaning up the database, and ensuring efficient theme and plugin performance for both mobile and desktop users.
3. Design Tweaks for Optimization: Apply small, strategic design adjustments focused on improving overall site optimization and user flow, particularly on product pages and the checkout funnel.
4. E-commerce Action Button Implementation: Integrate additional, clearly visible action buttons on product pages to facilitate immediate purchasing actions such as 'Buy Now', 'Add to Cart', and direct 'Checkout' options. The aim is to reduce friction and increase conversion rates.
