Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with proven skills working with the Voxel theme.
Full-time developer for a long-term collaboration, either as a freelance contractor or as an employee. This is not a short-term project.
The project involves the management, maintenance, optimization, and further development of a real estate portal currently in production.

The developer will be responsible for continuing the current work, handling technical adjustments, implementing new features, solving issues, and collaborating directly with the project lead.

Availability to start immediately is important.

Project overview

The portal is based on WordPress and highly customized through code and plugins, using the Voxel theme. It manages real estate properties, advanced contact forms, external integrations (such as Google Maps, CRM systems, and multilingual setups). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in: Advanced WordPress development (custom post types, ACF, hooks, and filters). PHP programming oriented to WordPress. HTML5, CSS3, and CSS optimization. Basic to intermediate JavaScript (especially jQuery). Plugin usage and development. Basic MySQL database handling. Technical seo best practices and performance optimization (fast loading of listings, maps and property pages, advanced image optimization, css/js minimization and deferment, lazy loading, and low response times). Application of local SEO techniques (correct use of structured data, optimization by cities and areas, geolocation of content). Nice to Have: Previous experience with real estate portals or marketplaces. Basic knowledge of Google Ads and SEM campaign optimization. Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console). Experience integrating external APIs (e.g., Real estate CRMs or Google Maps APIs). Fluent English Ability to propose performance improvements and scalability strategies. Soft Skills We Value: Proactivity and problem-solving attitude. Clear and professional communication skills.
