We're looking for a detail-oriented copyeditor for a long-term work relationship with weekly assignments. The most qualified candidates have an excellent grasp of the English language, understand ap writing style and seo best practices, and have enough writing expertise to improve copy about addiction and mental health to make it simultaneously professional and consumer-friendly.
Project overview:
Editing assignments include articles, webpages and blog posts on addiction, drug rehabilitation and behavioral/mental health, often worked on by a medical/therapeutic professional first. Fact-checking and source work is also involved. Editors are expected to edit the content for clarity and brand style without changing the core information approved by the medical reviewer. They also write the meta-description and subheading for each piece (if not already provided), and use our Grammarly account to provide a readability and plagiarism score.
Details:
Compensation is a fixed price, pay-per-article format, not hourly. Contributors are featured on our website as part of our editorial team with a short professional bio and headshot, which is required.
