We blend smart budgeting tools with real-time insights and financial education — all designed to make money management simple, fun, and effective for Gen Z and Millennials. What You’ll Do -Maintain and improve our backend services built with Node.js + TypeScript -Build and scale secure REST APIs to support mobile app features -Use Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Functions, Storage) as core infrastructure -Write clean, well-documented, and testable code -Collaborate closely with iOS engineers and product team -Ensure robust data security and performance -Debug and fix production issues quickly Requirements ✔️ Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript ✔️ Strong experience with Firebase & Firestore ✔️ Comfortable building & scaling REST APIs ✔️ Knowledge of cloud functions, authentication, and role-based access ✔️ Solid understanding of data security best practices ✔️ Comfortable working with small, fast-moving teams Nice to Have ⭐ Experience with Plaid, or other fintech integrations ⭐ Familiarity with Firebase Emulator Suite for local development ⭐ Previous experience in fintech or personal finance apps
