We are seeking an experienced backend developer to finalize and harden a news clipping Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The core of the work involves implementing and integrating an already-defined project shell, which was initially generated using OpenAI Codex. This project shell includes several key components that need to be wired together and made robust.
The primary tasks will focus on:
1. Implementing and integrating n8n workflows for automation.
2. Developing and refining Python-based scrapers and data enrichers.
3. Integrating OpenAI for advanced data extraction capabilities.
4. Connecting with various external APIs to enhance functionality.
The main objective is to build reliable and efficient pipelines for data ingestion, enrichment, deduplication, and publishing. The publishing mechanisms include RSS feeds, alert systems, and restricted outputs. This project is heavily focused on backend development and automation; it does not involve exploratory research and development or user interface (UI) work.
The ideal freelancer will be comfortable working with Linux (specifically Debian distributions), n8n for workflow automation, various APIs, and structured data processing techniques. We anticipate the effort for an experienced freelancer working full-time on delivery to be approximately 5-10 days to bring this MVP to a hardened, production-ready state.
