Data Engineer Project - based in Portugal only

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer freelancer for a B2B data migration project. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience working with various databases and developing robust data pipelines. This project is expected to last between 4 to 5 months and requires a strong focus on data integrity and efficient migration strategies. Key responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. The role is remote, for candidates based in Portugal.

Required Skills and Experience:
*  3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
*  Proven expertise with databases and data pipeline development.
*  Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
*  Extensive experience with Python for scripting and data processing.
*  Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly with data warehousing solutions like Redshift.
*  Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
*  Familiarity with big data technologies and ETL processes.
*  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
