Experienced Devops Engineer / Infrastructure Architect Needed for Scalable Web Platform

Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps expert or infrastructure-focused full-stack engineer to help design and deploy a scalable, secure, and self-hosted system for a custom web platform. This role requires deep experience with non-cloud infrastructure (outside of AWS/Google Cloud), automated deployments, and efficient data management at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and implement scalable backend infrastructure for a custom web application
-Configure and manage self-hosted object storage (e.g., MinIO, Backblaze, or similar)
-Set up and optimize PostgreSQL or other relational databases
-Configure CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
-Containerize services using Docker and optionally manage clusters with Kubernetes
-Implement secure, robust user authentication and API management
-Build logging, monitoring, and backup systems for reliability and disaster recovery
-Provide recommendations for cost-efficient hosting and redundancy strategies
-Support integration of microtransaction or escrow-style payment infrastructure


Desired Skills & Experience:
-Strong knowledge of Linux-based server management
-Proven experience with Docker, Traefik/Nginx, and PostgreSQL
-Familiarity with object storage solutions and local hosting of cloud-like services
-Understanding of scalable API design, data integrity, and security practices
-Experience deploying platforms that prioritize data control and uptime
