We are seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to join our growing AI software and automation company as a trusted long-term development partner. Our focus is on serving construction and real estate businesses with custom-coded web applications, client portals, dashboards, internal tools, and workflow systems. The ideal candidate will be able to take defined business requirements, make sound technical decisions, and deliver clean, reliable software.
This is not primarily a no-code position. We are looking for a software engineer who actively uses AI development tools like Claude to enhance efficiency, but also possesses the engineering expertise to review, debug, test, and improve AI-generated code.
Typical Work includes:
- Building responsive web applications and client portals.
- Developing with React,
Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Implementing authentication and role-based permissions.
- Connecting third-party APIs and business systems, requiring Microsoft knowledge.
- Working with databases and structured business data.
- Building dashboards, forms, tables, document areas, and workflow tools.
- Troubleshooting and improving existing applications.
- Providing clear documentation and project handoffs.
- Occasionally working with Airtable, Make, or Softr when a project requires it.
Required Experience:
- Strong software engineering background.
- Demonstrated client work using React and
Next.js.
- Experience building and deploying production web applications.
- Comfortable working with APIs, databases, authentication, and permissions.
- Active experience using Claude in a professional development workflow.
- Able to independently troubleshoot issues rather than relying entirely on AI-generated code.
- Strong written English and dependable asynchronous communication.
- Comfortable working directly with a non-technical business owner.
- Able to explain technical decisions in clear language.
