In this role, you will manage the full medical billing and credentialing lifecycle, including claim submission, insurance follow-ups, denial resolution, and payer enrollment. You will work closely with the physician to ensure accurate billing workflows while supporting a transition from the current EMR to Practice Fusion. This is a highly hands-on administrative role that requires reliability, structure, and proactive communication. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in end-to-end medical billing and credentialing, communicates with professionalism and clarity, is comfortable navigating EMRs (Practice Fusion preferred; ability to work in Glace during transition), and demonstrates strong organization, consistency, and high ethical standards while supporting efficient revenue cycle operations.
Responsibilities
-Manage end-to-end medical billing, including claim submission and follow-ups.
-Handle denial management and work claims through to resolution.
-Perform insurance verification and pre-authorizations as needed.
-Support credentialing processes (CAQH, payer enrollments, and maintenance).
-Maintain accurate billing records within the EMR system.
-Work within Practice Fusion and support transition from Glace as needed.
-Communicate with insurance providers to resolve billing and credentialing issues.
-Ensure timely and accurate claims processing to maintain cash flow.
-Identify and flag inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
-Strong experience in end-to-end medical billing (required).
-Experience with credentialing (CAQH, insurance enrollments).
-Familiarity with Practice Fusion (required).
-Strong understanding of icd-10 and cpt coding.
-Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication.
-Ability to work independently and take ownership of the billing function.
-Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
-Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment.
-High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions.

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 AM – 5 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
Pay Range: $1000 - $1400 per month
