We are seeking a skilled editor and proofreader for a full-length memoir of approximately 27,000 words. The project requires a light edit focusing on refining the manuscript for clarity, consistency, and overall readability. The primary goal is to polish the text, ensuring it is free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and awkward phrasing. The freelancer will be responsible for: Reviewing the entire manuscript for grammatical accuracy. Correcting any spelling and punctuation errors. Ensuring consistent style and tone throughout the memoir. Improving sentence structure and flow for enhanced readability. Identifying and rectifying any factual inconsistencies or logical gaps. The ideal candidate will have experience with memoir or non-fiction editing and a keen eye for detail. This is a one-time project with a clear deliverable.
